These coaches
are being restored to service by OMR, the above photo is of a sister car and
only used as a representation of our cars, once our cars have been painted
and released from the shop their
photos will be posted on this page.

Sister car in service on the Canadian National Railroad in
1974

Built in the
1920s by Pullman for service on the Canadian National Railroad as long distance
coaches. Rebuilt for commuter service and retired in the 1980's. Some of
the mechanical features include: Roller bearings with rotating end caps, E
couplers, UC valves, cast shoes, great bodies, straight bar equalizer trucks on
2 cars and 2 with drop equalizers, good wheels, seats approximately 70 passenger
ea, body mounted cylinders.
These cars are currently being restored by Ozark Mountain
Railcar, we expect them to be completed in 2010. The additional upgrades
OMR will be adding include: New (black) rubber roof with new roof decking, restrooms with holding tanks, rubber diaphragms, new window
frames and glazing, new interior and exterior paint, new electrical circuits to
interior lighting, fresh COT&S, removal of old A/C
plenum to restore the Clerestory ceiling. As the cars are completed photos of
each car will be posted on this page.
