Built in 1940
by the Budd Company for the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad as a 56 seat coach,
converted into a lounge/table car for dinner train service. Currently the car
consist of a small pantry for beverage service, large lounge/dining area seating
approx 30-50 passengers, several small private dining rooms that can also be
used for sleeping accommodations. Some of the mechanical details include: Oil
bath bearings, ISSH, good wheels, large stainless fuel tank (for oil fired
heat), D-22 valves, stainless steel construction, under car propane tank, R-22
air conditioning, restroom with holding tank, oil fired boiler for car heating,
roof mount spot lights, H couplers HEP. Tables, chairs and antiques can be included for an
additional $2,500
