#3703 in service on Artrain - In primer on Artrain- In service on Artrain - Photo of sister car #3701 in service on the B&O

Built in the 1930 by Pullman for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad as a long distance coach, rebuilt by B&O as a "Betterment" car in the 1950's.  Eventfully sold to Artrain and converted into a rolling art museum. During the art gallery conversion the windows were blanked off but the original window penetrations in the car body still exist. Windows can easily be reinstalled using locomotive style gaskets and would not require the remanufacture of the aluminum window frames. Car would make a great stationary or rolling gift shop. Would also be ideal as a table car, lounge or turned back into a coach. Some of the mechanical details include: Great body, H couplers, ABD brake valves, 2- 6 ton commercial air condition systems, forced air heat, 3 APEE bearings and 3- 5.5 x 10 Hyatt bearings, interior build outs are constructed of plywood and can be changed or removed, original walls and ceiling are behind the build outs, ISSH, bolted pedestal, body mounted cylinders.
