Built as mobile crew quarters for railroad maintenance of way employees, 1980 era mobile home type of trailer mounted on flat car. Each unit (4 cars available) is self contained only needing local power and water. All cars are in great condition and include 2 sleeping areas with 4 bunks (each car sleeps 8 total), shower, toilet and sink area, lounge/dining area and locker area. Each car can be train lined to adjoining car for power, water, etc. Would make an excellent yard office, crew room, maintenance office/tool room or additional office/storage space. Some of the mechanical details include: Solid casting flat car, roller bearings, AB brakes, 6x11 bearings, flat cars out shopped 1989-1991, central heat (oil fired), air conditioning, large capacity oil fired hot water heater, 200 gal water storage tank, Microphor toilet system, 1 shower per car, interior measures 10' x 40', external fuel oil tanks, each car has a 60 amp 220v single phase service, external flood lights, air compressor, retired by Conrail in 1999.
