Built in October of 1949 by EMD for the Chicago & North Western Railroad as #4077A. Under C&NW ownership the unit was also assigned the numbers #407 & #416. The unit is not currently Blue Carded but is operational. Some of the mechanical details include: 225 KW Caterpillar HEP genset (876 hours on hour meter, reblt 1999), cast shoes, 26 brake, Hyatt 6.5 x 12 oil bearings, H couplers, serviceable wheels, good car body (some rust under cab)
