Where is it and how do I buy it?
OMR is a brokerage firm and we do not own the equipment we represent. We do have agreements with all of our sellers to represent them as their broker.  Therefore if an item is listed on our site we do have the authority to represent the seller.  It is our policy to initially release the basic details on our listings to a Buyer. We will be more then happy to answer any and all questions to the best of our ability. Before we can release exact locations, schedule inspections or accept offers it is our policy that the Buyer must submit a Buyers Agency Agreement.  Our Buyers Agency Agreement is a simple on line form which takes only minutes to complete. The Agency Agreement  acts as our confidentiality agreement and you are agreeing to utilize the services of Ozark Mountain Railcar only for the equipment we represent. By submitting this document you are not obligated to purchase anything and you are able to purchase items from other sellers or brokers.  The Buyers Agency Agreement is applicable only to the listings represented by OMR. All items sold by OMR are sold on a "As Is Where Is Basis".

How do I move it and what does it cost?                                    After a purchase please keep in mind that all transportation and storage charges are the responsibility of the Buyer. There are several options when transporting rail equipment. Can the item be shipped by rail (like a box car in a train) or will it have to be shipped by truck, we can normally answer these questions for you in advance. If the item can  be shipped by rail we can usually give you  approximate transportation charges . If the item has to be shipped by truck there are also crane costs (at origin and destination) , trucking and permit cost. Crane and trucking charges vary greatly depending on where you are at, so we are not able to give you approximate costs on trucking.  Rail cost are normally cheaper then trucking, but both are based on mileage.  When researching trucking and crane contractors keep in mind that House Movers also have the equipment to move rail equipment.  Many times crane companies can recommend a trucking company who they have worked with in the past. But make sure they actually see what they are going to be moving before they show up to do the job.

How do I sell it?                                                                                                    Selling your surplus items through OMR is a simple and easy process. We take care of all the marketing, Buyer pre-qualification, sales contracts, bill of sales and even escrow services.  You will be surprised to find how easy and economical it really is.  With the most aggressive marketing program in the industry your equipment will sell for top dollar and in record time. 

What is it worth?                                                                          When selling railroad equipment, one of the most difficult things to determine is the fair market value.  When you list items for sale with OMR we will give you a free Brokers Opinion of Value. The B.O.V. is determined by current market conditions, physical condition, mechanical attributes and  appearance of the item.  If your not selling, but you need a value for insurance, etc we can provide you with a Brokers Opinion of Value for $250.00 per item. Contract & Escrow Services 
If you have already found a Buyer for your items but would like some additional help with the transaction, we do offer Contract & Escrow Services.
