PRR Keystone Power Car #9600

Built in 1956 by the Budd Company for
the Pennsylvania Railroad as a power car for the experimental low slung
passenger train the "Keystone". Originally built with a generator room and
a food service galley, converted in later years to a power car for dinner train
service. Some of the mechanical details include: OSSH, grease bearings, good
wheels, HEP, disc brakes, original food service area intact but not used, 2 CAT
turbo charged generators (1- 365 KW & 1- 225 kw), 480v stand by plug, commercial air compressor for the
air starters on generators. This car is in operational condition, additional
photos and generator details coming soon.
