Built by EMD for the SOO Line in 1963 as a GP30 and built with ALCO trucks. Sold to Wisconsin Central railroad who retired the unit, removed the prime mover and sold it to the current owner. Some of the mechanical details include: 1940 era ALCO trucks, roller bearings, 26 brake, AAR control stand, main generator has been removed, unit has NO traction motors.
