Built in 1947
by the Pullman Co. for the Santa Fe Railroad as a 4 drawing room, 1 double
bedroom round end observation lounge for service on the Santa Fe's
premiere train the Super Chief. Rebuilt by the railroad in later years as a
blunt end observation keeping the same floor plan. Rebuilt for dinner train
service and used as a rolling bed & breakfast. Some of the mechanical details
include: Steel body with stainless steel fluting, disc brakes, ISSH, grease
roller bearings, D-22 brake valves, good exterior, 480v HEP, air conditioning,
electric heat, marker lights, holding tanks, updated electrical locker, shower,
Microphor toilets, water heater, nice interior, sound system.
