Milwaukee Road platform business car Wisconsin was built by the Milwaukee in its Shops in 1948 along with the Hiawatha car order for the President of the railroad. Car has retained its original blonde oak woodwork interior with an observation lounge at the rear, four private bedrooms down the hall, bathroom with stainless shower, formal dining room in the center of the car. Beyond the dining room is the working section of the car with crew quarters, kitchen, boiler closet and electrical locker. The car has all of its original Waukesha AC and Generator systems in full working order. The car is self contained with Waukesha Generator and batteries to power all onboard systems. The car has operated on private trips, tourist railroads and fan trips numerous times over the past 14 years since leaving railroad executive fleet service. It has also been stored indoors the entire time. This is a stunning car in excellent condition.
