GE C39-8 #8212 was built circa 1984 for Conrail as #6021 , reportedly the last C39-8 in existence, some of the physical/mechanical attributes include 3,900 HP, V16 7FDL-16 prime mover, GE/GMC 187A2 main generator, 6-GE 752 AG traction motors with 83:20 gear ratio, 40 inch wheels, max speed 70 MPH, sale does not include Cab Signal System, locomotive has been out of service due to main bearing issues, it can be started for a running inspection, last full operational day was in 2022 and all six traction motors were cut in and had no ground relay issues and, wheels were reprofiled in 2022 before unit was removed from service (see wheel readings below), dynamic brakes (operational in 2022), rotating end cap & oil bath bearings, dynamic brakes, 26 brakes, comp shoes. The Seller will provide free delivery to the nearest CSX interchange.
