Norfolk & Western Railroad "Lamberts Point"

Built in 1918 by the Pullman Company as business car #200 for the Norfolk & Western Railroad, rebuilt several times by N&W and eventually sold into private ownership, restored by current owner and fully Amtrak certified. As you board the car from the observation end you enter a warm observation lounge paneled in Cherry wood. From the observation lounge is a hallway that leads you to two master rooms that sleep 2 each and both are equipped with a private toilet/shower. At the end of the hallway is a general toilet also equipped with a shower. Just past the general toilet is a formal dining room that seats 8 passengers, this room also has two lower berths for additional guests.  From the dining room a service hall leads to the crew room, pantry and a full stainless kitchen. 

Some of the mechanical details include: Fully Amtrak certified with current COT&S, electric floor and over head heat, 55 KW Cummins generator, new steel roof with bedliner coating down center, full HEP, H couplers updated electrical system, freeze protection, water raising compressor,  serviceable wheels, APEE roller bearings, Microphor sewage processing tank, cast trucks with truck mounted cylinders, great body but does need paint work, 26-C brake valves, composition tread brake shoes, rubber diaphragms, 27 pin, OSSH drop equalizer trucks. Lamberts Point is in full operating condition and ready for service.
