Built in 1921 by Osgood Bradley for the Maine Central Railroad as a baggage/coach. The car was converted into a power/steam heat car to operate with the Maine Central business train. During the conversion a steam heat boiler, diesel powered D/C generator & air compressor, water and fuel tanks were installed in the former baggage room which was extended. Some of the mechanical attributes include rotating end cap bearings, NEW wheels, cast shoes, E couplers, body mounted brake cylinders, UC brake valves, cast pedestal trucks. We do not have current full exterior photos because the car has been tarped for several years keeping the rain an snow off the car. The listing photos do show the lower part of the side sheets and side sills which show no corrosion.
