Maine Central Instruction Car SOLD

 Built in 1914 as a 87 seat smoker coach #252  by Pullman for the Maine Central Railroad. Rebuilt by the Maine Central in 1955 as a class room instruction car. Used by the MC system wide as a mobile class room, it also includes living quarters for the instructor. The car was finally retired in 1985 and sold to the current owner.  Some of the mechanical details include: steel construction, friction bearings, UC valves, tread cast shoes, oil fired heat (caboose stove), bolted pedestal trucks, body mounted cylinders, 110v electrical,  can not be shipped by rail car will need to be trucked from it's current location.
