Built by ALCO in 1952 as a RSC-2 road switcher for the Seaboard Air Line Railroad, later owned by Seaboard Coast Line, Florida Power & Light an finally sold to Adirondack Railway and used to power trains for the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. The unit was then sold to the New York, Susquehanna & Western Railroad who used it as a parts unit and they finally retired it an sold the locomotive to private owners. The locomotive was cosmetically restored and has been used as a stationary display. This locomotive has many items missing from it including traction motors and major engine components. Unit is ideal for stationary display and cannot be operated.
